OMG! I am on Vacation!

Hey! I am totally on vacation! I am in Florida with my two close friends! This is so cool! I am very happy to be back at Disney World. We got here about noon and got to the hotel. We are staying at the All Star Sports Resort. I have been here before. This time, our room is closer to the lobbey then all the way on the other side like it was in April. I am in a room with Kara, Kelly and Adam. On Friday, I will be meeting their cousins.

Before getting back to the vacation, my first semester at Southern is over. And I am done for good. I am transferring to Eastern Connecticut State University. I am very excited. Eastern was the number 1 school I wanted to go to. I start school on January 22nd. I like being home for a month though. Christmas was good and so was New Year's Eve. I had Caitlin over and we had a blast!

We went to the Magic Kingdom and had so much fun. The only thing that really disappointed me was that Splash Mountain was closed! Oh well, I will live! Well got to go! Later!

OMG Senior Year is almost over!

Wow I haven't blogged since November! So much has happened since then. First off, I did get into Southern Connecticut State University! I am very proud of myself! This was the college I really wanted to go to. I will hopefully major in Early Childhood Education. I take my placement exams on June 9th. Wish me luck!

Senior year was amazing this year! I have a whole list that made it spectacular! Let's get started!

First was the Fall Drama Production of "Noises Off". I helped with the stage crew and it was fun. I also got to go out to Friendly's after the Friday Night show!
Back in November, on the 14th, I celebrated my 18th Birthday! I had TJ, Tyler, Christina and Justin over for a party. It was alot of fun. I got nice gifts from the family and some money. Turning 18 had its advantages because in May I finally registered to vote!
Well sadly, our family suffered another loss. On March 11, my grandfather passed away after suffering two strokes. I was not ready to loose another member after Papa and Uncle Ronny. I couldn't take anymore. We flew down to Virginia for the funeral and it was nice to be there with my mom's side of the family. I did finally get to meet my new cousin Baby Jean. She is a miracle baby because we lost one Jean but gained another.
The next amazing thing was the trip to Walt Disney World with band and chorus in April. We at first thought it was going to be canceled because our flight was canceled due to the Noreastern coming through. Luckily we found another flight and got to Florida. At the hotel, we faced a few more problems. We at first couldn't get into our room and then our luggage didn't come till midnight! But after that, the trip just got better and better. I did not want to leave. I covered all 4 parks and had a blast.
After that, we opened up our Spring Musical of "The Pirates of Penzance". It was an amazing show and as it turned out, we got 13 nominations for the Halo Awards. We ended up winning five of them and a special award. Here are the ones we got:
  1. Best Featured Female Performer in a Play-Ali Agati
  2. Best Student Stage Management-Pete Bergamo and Alex Paul
  3. Best Supporting Actress in a Musical-Beth Killian
  4. Best Specialty Ensemble in a Musical-The Police
  5. Best Ensemble in a Musical
  6. The Gypsy Robe-Vin Laliberte
This year was my last year for Student Theater, yes sad I know, but I will not forget the amazing times I had. This year I got my varisty star pin and I won my first award. I got the director's award for Service and Leadership. I was very surprised. I am gonna miss Student Theater so much.
I went to three proms this year instead of one. I went to Kennedy's Prom with KC from Camp. It was fun but I only knew like one other person. I went to SCA PROM with the Holy Cross Seniors and it was a blast. We had wanted SCA as our theme for Prom but it got shot down so we did it anyways at the Continental Room in Naugatuck. Holy Cross Prom was by far the best. I had Bri, Christina and Katie over for pictures before hand and I went with John Swanhall. My dress was fushia pink and it was shorter then last years. The DJ was better and so was the music. It wasn't all hip-hop and rap.
I also had Senior Lock in on May 18th. It was fun. I spent most of the night with TJ. By 5:00 I was beat. I also won a raffle prize. And to conclude, Graduation will be on June 3rd at 10:30. I am very excited and I get to wear a gold robe! I will miss Holy Cross so much. It was by far, the best 4 years of my life.

Well that about sums up Senior Year! I will update after Summer is over and before I start at Southern!

Peace out all!

Hoping to hear from colleges

Well I do have some good news for the blog I haven't updated on since summer. First, I applied to 4 colleges. They are:
ECSU
SCSU
CCSU
WCSU
Second, if I pull up my math and science grades, I am in SCSU. I am very proud of myself for making this cut. SCSU is my top choice for schools. I want to major in Early Childhood Education and become a Preschool or Kindergarden Teacher. Here are my grades from the 1st Marking Period:
NeuroScience-72
Word Processing-92
Concert Choir-A
English-82
Math-75
Pee Ministry-90
Psychology-80

I had an 82 Average overall. I was very happy. This is all I got for now. Wish me luck with my colleges! I really, really want to go to SCSU.

Here is to Summer 06

Well school has officially started and fall is on its way . Summer has come and passed. This susmmer had its ups and it downs but I will never forget all the good times.
-First was going to Six Flags with school. I had the best time with my friends and I won't forget the memorable and fun time on the bus ride home.
-Second was my cousin Steve's Wedding down in South Carolina. I had an awesome time at the rehearsal dinner, the bridal shower, the ceremony and of course the reception. It was good to see my aunt and uncle, meet new people and most of all to welcome April to our family.
-Third was Virginia Beach with Mom, Dad, Mary, Amy, Sarb, and Rach. The drive down to Williamsburg was the 11 hour trip from hell but we managed to get there safe and sound. It was good to be with Steve and Jan. The weather at the beach was perfect and the waves were the best. I enjoyed playing Setback with Dad, Amy and Sarb. I also got to go to Busch Gardens with Dad, Joanne and her son Mark. The rides were so much fun. The last day the waves were a bit rough but we went swimming anyways. On Saturday I was up at 5:00 to watch the sunrise and I got amazing pictures.

This summer was indeed fun but my family suffered a terrible loss. My grandfather(aka Papa) sadly passed away on July 21. He had been diagnosed with cancer two months before and ther e wasn't much to be done to save him. He died at home quite peacefully and all of us where there except for my sister. Amy did go down to Columbia to get her and she arrived in Watertown at 2:00 in the morning. His funeral was a week later so I sadly did not go to West Virginia but my church group sent me a very nice card. Amy, Mary and I sang at the funeral and do many people atteneded. So many people knew what a wonderful person my grandpa was. He was more then just a doctor: he was a great father and a loving grandfather. He loved me, my sister and my three younger cousins so much. I miss him terribly and I am planning on dedicating my College Essay to him becasue he has influeneced my life so much.

I guess that's it for now. Goodbye Summer 06. It was fun but it has come and fall will soon take it's place.

So much fun at Six Flags

OMG! I had the best day ever at Six Flags. Despite the cold weather and the rain I still had fun. I was with Christina, Katie, Bri, Cate, Pete, Tyler, and Jessie all day. We left school at 8:45 and rode the hour trip to the park. I sat with Tyler behind Bri and Cate. Pete and Jessie were two rows ahead of us and Katie and Christina were across from us.

When we got to the park there was like no one there. We did two group shots at the front and Katie, Cate, and I got a picture with Scooby Doo. After that we walked as fast as we could to Superman. Katie and Cate went on the Poisen Ivy Train while Pete, Jessie, Christina, Tyler and I waited in line. We were only in line for 10 minutes. Tyler and I had the front seat and it was so cool. I lost my voice going down the first drop. The picture was so funny. We then went on the swings and The Buzz Saw. Our first water ride was Splash Water Falls which is a new ride. We barely got wet though. We then went on the tea cups but I got a bit sick to my stomach so I had to find something to drink. While Bri, Tyler, Christina, Pete and Jessie went on Batman(I was honestly going to do it but I felt really bad) and the Mind Eraser, Katie, Cate, Becca, Ashley and I went to the water park. There was no one there. We basically had the park to ourselves. We first got used to the water then went on some slides. We also got to do the Water Coaster twice. It was me, Katie, and Cate in a float and it was so much fun. Christina came on the coaster the third time and Cate sat out cause she was cold. We played Marco Polo in the wave pool and went on
Geronimo Falls. We got lunch then changed.

We left the water park and waled to the other side of the park. We went on the Houdini- Greta Escape ride which is a huge optical allusion. I was a little freaked out and I think I took the life out of Brianna's arm. After that we went on ship wrek falls twice and got completely soaked. Christina, Katie and I first sat in the second to last row and didn't get too wet. Tyler and Cate were behind us. The second time we sat up front and Cate and Tyler were in back. That time we got drenched. On the bridge we even got hit with the water cannons making our dry clothes soaked. Tyler and Cate took the skyway while Christina, Katie and I went to look for Bri, Pete and Jessie. We met up at Blizzard River. The first time we did that it was me, Christina, Katie, Tyler and Cate. We didn't get as wet as expected. Only Christina did. The second time we took Pete with us and I got hit with a waterfall so I got drenched that time. while some of the group went shopping, Pete, Bri, Jessie, Christina, Tyler and I went on Mr. Six's
Pandemonium. We walked to the main street and Becca and I did Thunderbolt as our last ride. I got a neat necklace and some candy for the ride home.

The bus ride I think was the funniest part of the trip. I got so many pictures and I could not stop laughing. I had the best day and I am glad I went. The weather held out with just sprinkling. I was very happy. Wehn I came home I was able to take a hot shower which was very relaxing. Thanks to all my friends who made this day wonderful and I hope next year's trip will be just as fun.

So bored...Don't like Sundays too much

I wish it was Spring Break already. I know we only have three days until break but Sundays are just too slow. There is absolutely nothing to do. I have talked on the phone with Kara and Kelly for hours on end already, I went outside, and I watched tv. The weather was nice today.

I have three weeks until the musical. I am so excited. Mary will be home soon as well. After that I have two weeks until prom. I am doing my dress alterations next week and I already set up my hair and nail appointment. I love my dress. I feel like royalty in it.

I really don't know what esle to put in here. This is sometimes why I don't like blogging because I run out of things to say. I always know what to say when I am writing in my diary but when it comes to my blog I have nothing. It's kinda pathetic actually. I'll update soon I guess.

Why do I keep forgetting to blog?

Hey! I cannot believe this. I make time to write in my diary each night but I can't remember to blog once in a while. I have been so busy with rehearsals, schoolwork, and other stuff. On Saturday night I saw SEUSSICAL THE MUSICAL and it was amazing. I went with LCCC and we had front row seats. The guy who was The Cat in the Hat was so good. I got a picture with him and his autograph. His name is Matt and he is so cute! We are now friends through Myspace and AIM. I hope we become really good friends.

The King and I rehearsals have gotten better. We have rehearsal three times a week. On Tuesdays and Thursdays we have rehearsal from 4:15 until 9:00. That is a bit crazy but from 5:30 until 6:30 I get to go up to Katie's house and hang with her. Her house is pretty cool. I love her ferret Slinky. He is adorable. The show is the 1st weekend in May. I can't wait.

Well I guess that's basically it for now. I am out of things to say. I hate when that happens. Kara and Kelly are hopefully coming home this weekend. Hopefully Sarah, Katie and Mandi are available so we can do something. TTYL!
